Aim:
Intelligent techniques are an emerging approach of the modern science which parallels the remarkable ability of the human mind to reason and learn in an environment of uncertainty and imprecision. The main aim of this issue is the thematic integration of the research results into mathematical modelling, theoretical analysis, synthesis and numerical simulation pertaining to the performance improvements in power system for providing a clean energy to the consumers. The outcome of the special issue is expected to provide a platform for the researchers to analyze the various performance improvement techniques used to develop an acceptable, reliable and high quality electrical grid.

Topics:
- Micro grid
- Smart Grid
- Artificial Neural Networks for performance improvement in power systems
- Fuzzy Logic Controllers for performance improvement in power systems
- Optimization Techniques for performance improvement in power systems
- Power Electronic converters for performance improvement in power systems
- Advanced inverter configurations
- Fault diagnostic systems in power systems
- Internet of Things for performance improvement in power systems
- Power Quality improvement for performance improvement in power systems
- Grid Synchronization
