Founded in 1996 as WSES and subsequently renamed in 2001 to WSEAS (pronounced double-you-sees, stands for World Scientific and Engineering Academy and Society) is an international organization that promotes the development of novel mathematical methods and computational techniques as well as their applications in science in general and engineering in particular. Its main activities revolve around collaboration with universities and organization of scientific conferences all around the world, publication of proceedings, books, monographs and journals and any other activity that advances the science.
WSEAS started out by focusing on Electrical Engineering and Mathematics events. Their rapid success, portrayed in the warm welcome they received from institutions and academics from all over the globe, allowed them to expand to several more branches. Nowadays WSEAS conferences and publications embrace topics such as Information Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil & Structural Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Economics, Biology and Medicine, Environmental science and many more. Furthermore, WSEAS publications enjoy a wide recognition by all major Scientific Indexes and as a result thousands of academics every year entrust their researches to them. Renowned plenary speakers who honor WSEAS conferences on a monthly basis contribute to a rich scientific experience.
The WSEAS staff would like to thank every single individual who has contributed and continues to contribute by their presence and paper submissions. We promise to work even harder in the future in order to continue to contribute to science for many more years to come.
