Abstract: In this talk we consider some equations that admit compacton solutions induced by a non-convex convection. We derive symmetry reductions and we find some of the reduced ordinary differential equations suitable for a qualitative analysis. By using the multipliers method we find a classification of the low-order conservation laws for these equations.
