Aim: Digital Manufacturing helps companies turn great ideas into successful products faster than ever before. By giving engineering, manufacturing, marketing, and purchasing a look at the product early in the design process, mistakes can be corrected and changes can be made while they are still inexpensive. In the present context of increasing number of variants of products, product complexity and decreasing of delivery time, exposure to the technical know how’s of the techniques is crucial to any aspiring technocrat. Companies' operations, competition and markets have gone global, and in response, CAM and CAI are taking on more functionality and allowing for increased collaboration between departments. The major trends shaping the development of these tools need to be shared with the research fraternity. This would promote widespread of information exchange amongst experts, industrialists, and practitioners in the way of presentations.
