ABSTRACT: Renewable power generation is one of the important challenges for the future generations. In that way, private companies are currently working on optimisation of solar panel power ratio by using well-known sun tracking systems. Training and sensitizing our students to these new technologies requires first to design didactical equipment: Thus, we present the design and modelling of a two axis small scale tracking system. A mixed SPICE circuit, including geometrical, optical, electronic linear and non-linear aspects is built as well as a 3 dimensions VRML virtual animated modelling. Electronic design is presented and validated. This small scale system is now used for practical lessons and projects in our institute
