Abstract:
Brief Biography of
the Speaker: Renato De Leone is Full Professor of Operations Research at
University of Camerino, Italy. After receiving his degree at University of
Napoli, Italy, he has been Visiting Professor at University of Wisconsin,
Madison, WI USA and Research Associate from 1985 to 1994.
His main interests are in linear and nonlinear large–scale optimization,
Neural Networks and Support Vector Machines and transportation problems.
Currently, he is President of AIRO, the Italian Association of Operations
Research.
