Brief Biography of the Speaker:

Luisa Consiglieri received her B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from the University of Lisbon in 1988, 1992 and 2000, respectively. She attends at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon since 1987 and is currently Assistant Professor. She has been member of the Centro de Matematica e Aplicacoes Fundamentais of University of Lisbon (CMAFUL) in the area of partial differential equations since 1988. Her research interests span a variety of areas in differential equations such as existence, uniqueness and regularity of solutions, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, electromagnetism, biomechanics, and applications to biomedical problems. At the present, her principal aim is the interdisciplinarity.
