Abstract: Basic concepts of fault
diagnosis in analog circuits and devices by means of the
simulation-before-test approach, the so called dictionary approach, have
been presented. Special attention has been paid to application of artificial
intelligence tools, such as: artificial neural networks, fuzzy sets and
evolutionary computing.
Brief Biography of the Speaker:
Damian E. Grzechca received M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees, all from the Silesian
Technical University - Poland, in 1998, and 2003, respectively. His teaching
and research interests are in the analog and digital signal processing and
application of artificial intelligence methods like the fuzzy set theory,
neural networks, genetic algorithms to electronic system diagnosis and
design.
