S. Narayanan
(Ph.D., Industrial & Systems Engineering, Georgia Tech, 1994) is
Professor and Chair in the Department of Biomedical, Industrial, and
Human Factors Engineering at WSU and is the executive director of
the Wright State Research Institute. Prof. Narayanan directs the
interactive systems modeling and simulation laboratory at WSU and
his research interests are in modeling and simulation of complex
systems, decision aiding, and interactive systems development. He
has published over 85 technical articles in these areas and directed
research efforts of over $6 million from federal, state, and
industrial sources. He is a Fellow of the American Institute for
Medical and Biological Engineering and is an associate editor of
IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, International
Journal of Modelling and Simulation, and Transactions of the Society
for Computer Simulation.
