JOURNALS:
BEST PAPERS: The authors of the Best Papers will be invited to send extended versions of their papers after the conference to the Editor-in-Chiefs of WSEAS Journals. These extended versions might be published in the WSEAS Journals after the conference with additional review. This very limited number of high-quality papers will be announced in the Post-Conference report of the Conference.

No-show authors will be excluded from any further publication in WSEAS Journals, regardless of the quality of their papers. Additionally, they will be required to pay extra shipping and handling fees in order for the organizing committee to mail out their registration receipt, CD-ROM proceedings, and one volume of the hard-copy proceedings.

STUDENTS COMPETITION:
WSEAS will give out prizes for the winners of the students competition. The evaluation will be based on the recommendation of the Chairmen of each Session. The results will be announced at: www.wseas.org/reports

History of the WSEAS Conference on WAVELET ANALYSIS & MULTIRATE SYSTEMS :

The 1st Conference with the title: "Multirate Systems and Wavelet Analysis" was held in 2001 in Rethymno, Greece, (July 2001). The 2nd, the 3rd and the 4th  took place in Vouliagmeni, Greece in December of  2002, 2003 and 2004 correspondingly. The 5th WAMUS  took place in Sofia, Bulgaria in October of 2005 while the 6th WAMUS in Bucharest, Romania in 2006.
The 7th WSEAS WAMUS was held in Arcachon of France in October of 2007. The 8th WSEAS WAMUS is going to take place in Corfu Island of Greece in October of 2008.

Scope of the WSEAS Conference on WAVELET ANALYSIS & MULTIRATE SYSTEMS :

The World Conference of WSEAS on WAVELET ANALYSIS & MULTIRATE SYSTEMS  is the internationally recognised Forum for the dissemination of the latest advances on Wavelets, Multirate Systems, Filter Banks etc as well as their various applications in Science and Engineering.  The various WSEAS conferences on Wavelet Analysis has been successfully held each year since 2001 and has produced more than 5 volumes of Proceedings while the best papers and the invited papers after extension and after peer review from 4 international referees, are published in WSEAS Journals covered by all the major scientific indeces.
