Professor Konstantia
Tamoutseli is
an agriculturalist, graduate of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, a
landscape architect with MPhil degree of Edinburgh University and a
Doctor of Environmental Education of the Aristotle University of
Thessaloniki, Greece.
Currently she is
lecturer in the Primary Education Department, at Aristotle University
of Thessaloniki on Environmental Education.
From 1998 up to 2007
she worked as an advisor of Environmental Education for secondary
school teachers at the Local Educational Authorities in Thessaloniki.
From 2001-2005, she
was a collaborating associate lecturer at the Department of Early
Childhood Education, where she taught the course “Space and education
at the school and the neighborhood.” From 2002 up to 2007, she taught
at Democritus University, in Thrace the courses “Garden architecture”
“Floriculture.”and “Sustainable Development”.
She has long teaching
experience at secondary and tertiary education level in the field of
Environmental Education, Sustainable Development, Nature studies and
Landscape Architecture. She also has long experience in teacher
training on Environmental Education in Greece and abroad and has taught
many classes of in-service teacher training courses and in the Degree
Equivalence course for primary and pre-primary
teachers.
She has written
numerous articles on Environmental Education and Education for
Sustainability, Whole School Approaches to Sustainability Education,
Ecological Approach to Landscape Design. She is the author but also
member of writing teams of educational packages on Environmental
Education e.g. Sustainable
tourism, Protection
of coastal environment, Agriculture
and the Environment, Creating
better school Environment, in Greece and aboard.
From 2001-2006 she
has coordinated the Greek National Network of Environmental Education,
titled “The Schoolyard” aiming at empowering the educational community
for participatory pedagogical redesign of the schoolyard and its
utilization as a teaching tool.

JOURNALS:
BEST PAPERS: The authors of the
Best Papers will be invited to send extended versions of their papers
after the conference to the Editor-in-Chiefs of WSEAS Journals. These
extended versions might be published in the WSEAS Journals after the
conference with additional review. This very limited number of
high-quality papers will be announced in the Post-Conference report
of the Conference.
No-show authors will be excluded from any further publication in WSEAS
Journals, regardless of the quality of their papers. Additionally, they
will be required to pay extra shipping and handling fees in order for
the organizing committee to mail out their registration receipt, CD-ROM
proceedings, and one volume of the hard-copy proceedings.

Scope of
the WSEAS Conference on EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES:
The World Conference of WSEAS on
EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES is the internationally
recognized Forum for the dissemination of the latest advances on
Education, with emphasis on Engineering Education as well as on the
