Brief Biography of the Organizer:

Dr. Zaigham Mahmood has an MSc in Mathematics, a further MSc in Computer Science and PhD in Modelling of Phase Equilibria. The PhD project required solution of non-linear simultaneous equations with application in Chemical Engineering. Dr Mahmood has spent many years in Computing industry, however, since 1991, he has been a member of academia. He is now a Senior Lecturer in Computing at the University of Derby in the UK. Dr Mahmood has 25 papers published in conference proceedings or in journals and is a member of organizing committees of several international conferences including WSEAS. His teaching and research interests lie in the areas of Software Engineering, Metrics, Project Management, Process Improvement and Enterprise Information Systems/Management.
