Brief Biography of
the Organizer:
Professor of
Environmental Engineering at the University of Pavia, Italy.
Earned a PhD in Environmental Engineering, Marquette University,
Milwaukee, USA after graduating cum laude in Civil Engineering from
the University of Pavia.
Cooperates as a Visiting Researcher with IRSA-CNR, Italy, since 1998
in several research projects on water quality and water bodies
restoration. Has participated in several EU-funded projects. Has
over 100 publications in scientific journals, monographs, conference
proceedings. His research interests are: environmental quality and
pollutant fate, modeling and simulation of environmental processes,
waste water treatment processes, groundwater remediation.
