Brief Biography of the Organizer:

B.S. Electrical Engineering in Bogazici University in 1990. M.S. and PhD are at the same university in 1994 and 1998 respectively. Started as a faculty member in Dogus University in 2001 and had a post-doc position in Wichita State University (KS, USA) in 2003-2004. Got the associate professorship degree in 2006.
Main research interests are the industrial applications of OR, production scheduling and data mining. Have published papers in prestigious journals and takes place in the review committee of several journals.
