Use of Nanofluids in Thermal Applications
within the
5th IASME / WSEAS International Conference on
HEAT TRANSFER, THERMAL ENGINEERING and ENVIRONMENT
(HTE'07)

Topics:
In recent years,
nanofluids – mixtures composed of saturated liquids and
nanoparticles – have been found to constitute a rather interesting
alternative for thermal applications. Research works were conducted
by researchers around the world on the use of such mixtures in heat
transfer systems. This Special Session is intended to offer to
researchers a platform for discussion and exchange of results and
ideas regarding the potential use of such nanofluids. Papers dealing
with all aspects related to nanofluids and their use in thermal
applications are welcomed. This includes (but is not limited to):
-
Computational/modeling results and experimental
data in various thermal systems showing nanofluid heat transfer
behavior and enhancement (if any)
-
Experimental characterization of nanofluids
thermal and physical properties
-
Analyses and modeling of nanofluid properties
