Abstract: In last two decades there have been explosion in
computers: each 1.5 years the remembrance doubles as well as the speed of the
computers increase twice. Wherewith, there are also changes in mathematics,
especially there are changes in methods of solution of various numerical and
analytical problems. Big volume batches of programs are developed and
persistently improved (MAPLE, Matlab, Mathematica etc.). It allows specialists
of particular industry to formulate and solve mathematical models of their
interest themselves. Therefore, seemingly diminishes the role of mathematics and
mathematicians in solution of practical problems.
In this paper, with a help of many concrete mathematical examples, it is shown
that only the cooperation of specialists of particular industry and
mathematicians allows successful modeling of complicated objects, phenomenon or
processes. Of course, here will be paid special attention to the models of heat
and mass transfer.
